USS Eagle
The USS Eagle has been drawn into the wormhole by the over powering gravimetric forces of the wormhole.
Ensign Valderkev informed the Captain
via the comms that the Chief Engineer was seriously injured, dying and taken
to Sickbay. The CO told the Ensign that he thought Sickbay might be under
the control of the aliens and finished his sentence, " If so then Val...:
...doesn't have a chance."
Midshipman Richards and others continued
the fight near Sickbay. LCDR Unstoffe and Dr. Harry Sullivan joined them.
After more fighting, all non-possessed crew members retreated, taking the
CENG with them after Dr. Sullivan treated her briefly. This is the introduction
of our new AMO NPC, whose spoof of Dr. Who should amuse you "Whovians".
The USS Eagle continued her dangerous trip
through the Eye of Evil. The forces against us were so strong and unusual
that our Inertial Dampening System began to show severe signs of stress.
The wardroom lost its struggle against
the aliens, leaving the CMO, two others and the mysterious crewman in her
quarters as the sole "survivors" of that attempt to repel the aliens. During
this time, the CMO discovered something about the aliens and contacted the
CO about it. She has put together a make shift sickbay in a utility closet.
The CENG, Dr. Sullivan and others have joined her there. The CMO has taken
over treatment of the CENG and was working to save her life as the ship was
tossed about and the IDS weakened and began to fail.
Raakkos, still possessed by the aliens
and unable to resist them crawled through the Jeffries tubes and as luck
would have it passed through EPS junction, JX742-A. As soon as he did so
the voices left him. He paused for a moment, logic restored, and then
went past the junction. As soon as he did, he felt the aliens return, but
they were weaker. Our new Vulcan ASCI postulated and tested a theory by going
back to the junction. As he predicted, the aliens left him again. Raakkos
promptly contacted the bridge and reported the news to the CO.
This is very good news indeed and may
provide a solution to one of our dilemmas.
